I'm Amy, welcome to Ameldi, a place where I like to share the little things in life, books I’ve read, travels I’ve taken and everything in-between.
I studied Classics and Archaeology at university in Kent. After my BA I moved to the Midlands to complete my Museum Studies MA degree, but after the year was up I returned to Kent for work and love. I’ve been working in Museums ever since and currently work in the education and community engagement side of things.
I live in Kent with my lego-loving engineer boyfriend who makes the tastiest ragu and roast lamb. In my spare time I enjoy knitting, baking and walking. I’m a small living kind of person at heart although I sometimes think that living in a big city would be pretty cool. I have a bit of a sweet tooth, am incredibly indecisive and have a tendency to overuse exclamation points!
Things I like: books, cats, Italy, knitting, citrus, lazy weekends, sunshine, swimming, the smell of the sea, long walks, big jumpers, family, Nutella, fresh flowers, mint, freshly baked bread, the cold side of the pillow, sausage dogs, bubble baths, stripes, running, baking, picnics, cocktails, exploring new places, stationery, olives, brunch, breakfast foods, boots and jeans.
If you want to get in touch, you can contact me through any of my social media profiles, leave a comment on the blog or drop me an email on: firstname.lastname@example.org I’d love to hear from you!
Thank you so much for reading!
