Now it's November I'm pretty sure that it's okay to mention Christmas, right? Good. I had an idea a while back that I thought would be a really fun thing to do for Christmas, but figured it was probably best to hold back until at least Halloween was over. I've been pretty excited about this idea and immediately contacted Anna from This Last Moment when I thought of it to see if anyone out there would be interested. Now that we are officially in November I think it's time to share. Most bloggers seem to be pretty creative people with a fair few of us interested in knitting so I thought it might be fun to have a blogger's secret santa. The difference with this secret santa though would be that everyone knits something, a Knitmas Christmas if you will. We could then have an informal bloggers meet up (probably in London) where everyone can exchange their handmade pressies and get to know their fellow crafty blogger pals. I don't want to exclude anyone so if you're not so fond of knitting don't feel you can't join in. I think the point really is to get crafty and create a handmade gift for a fellow blogger. I think a price limit is probably a good idea too, yarn and craft supplies can be pretty pricey and Christmas is an expensive time in general so I think a limit of maybe £10 would be good. What do you think?
If you're interested in taking part either leave a comment below, send me an email or hit me up on Twitter! I will then send you a name of another blogger who you'll make your gift for. If you also send me through your available dates both in December and early January I can then find a meet-up date that works for the majority.
I'm really excited about this, so I hope some of you are too!
