Coffee and Burgers in Prague

When Ellie came to Kent for her visit earlier in the year we found an article in a coffee magazine about the best places for coffee in Prague. Anonymous Coffee was featured in the article and from the description we knew we wanted to give it a try.

Anonymous CoffeeChai latte Anonymous coffee Anonymous CoffeeThe cafe has a comic book theme with images and masks up on the walls and behind the counter, making it that little bit different to most coffee places. The addition of a swing seat also added to the quirky fun atmosphere in the cafe which you can use while you wait for your coffee to be prepared. Unfortunately it was a little too hot for coffee so we both went for iced drinks. I went for the iced chai latte which was amazing and so tasty, just the right balance of ice and spice. Ellie went for the plum bitters frappuccino which was very strong and took a bit of getting used to but was also pretty tasty!

Meat & Greet Meat & GreetMeat & GreetNow I know I already mentioned Meat & Greet and their fantastic burgers, but as we ended up going there twice I thought it warranted a little more of a spotlight! The interior of Meat & Greet was also pretty cool and quirky with fun animal pictures on the wall. The restaurant name was also up on the wall in neon lights which was a nice little touch. The burgers were so good and had a nice selection which was different to most burger places. On our second trip I went for the pork burger with bean ragu which I'm pretty sure was the best choice I could have made as it was so flavoursome and delicious. Ellie went for the burger with pesto and cheese which was also pretty good and the pesto made a nice little change. We also had the best service at Meat & Greet, they had the friendliest staff we encountered on our whole trip and the service was quick and efficient. They also seem to source most of their produce locally making the quality of the food top notch. Their homemade lemonade looked really good as well but we foolishly didn't order any which was probably a big mistake and if i'm ever in Prague again is something I hope to rectify!

Unfortunately I ran out of space on my camera so had to take these photos with my phone so the quality is not to great!
