Book List

Since moving back to Kent and getting a full-time job i've not kept up with my reading. Most of my books are still in my old room at my parents' house (much to my mum's dismay!) so consequently I haven't had much to choose from. This year though I decided I really needed to get back into the swing of things. I made an Amazon wishlist, I checked the Guardian book reviews and borrowed books from family when they visited. After finishing Land Girls last weekend I decided to order a number of books from my Amazon wishlist, and was persuaded by the 3 for £10 offer. I've been most excited to start reading An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth: Life Lessons from Space by Chris Hadfield, and so far it has not disappointed. The book follows Hadfield's journey, from age 9 watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon, to becoming a real-life astronaut himself. Hadfield's voice is compelling and incredibly readable, it's no wonder it was an international bestseller. I've really enjoyed reading again and am looking forward to ordering more books from my wishlist!
