So as you will have seen from my last post a number of weeks ago I found some really cute free dinosaur knitting patterns, and well who doesn't like dinosaurs?! Last week I tried out the T-Rex knitting pattern and am pretty pleased with the results! It was a bit of a confusing pattern, but from the comments underneath it seems I'm not the only one who had problems. I managed to figure out the pattern with the help of some youtube videos and jumbled my way through. I have no idea what to do now or who I'm going to give this lil guy to, but I'm sure that won't be a problem! I was thinking I might try the pattern out again, now I know how it works, but maybe reverse the colours so it's a cream dinosaur with a red belly. I was also thinking I might change the eyes up a bit as well, maybe use some white felt with black thread, although I'm not sure if that will make it look friendlier or creepier? I guess the only way to find out is to give it a try!
I'm really enjoying trying out new knits and learning more and (hopefully) improving with each new knit. My friend bought me a new winter knits book for my birthday so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some of them.
If you're interested in trying out the dinosaur pattern you can find it here. Let me know if you give it a try, I'd love to know how you get on!
