An Oversized Scarf
Getting cosy in the colder months is probably my number one priority as I generally look like this until spring comes around. So when my nan bought me the biggest blanket scarf I had ever seen for my birthday last month I couldn't be happier. Last month I went to visit my nan to see her for my birthday. We decided to head to Sevenoaks for lunch and for me to choose my birthday present. It didn't take us very long to find the perfect present as we ended up in Joules where we had the BEST customer service. They were really friendly and helpful and they didn't make you feel like you weren't worthy to be in there, unlike some places do. Now normally I would never pick to buy a new scarf as I already have quite a few in my wardrobe and only a couple of those are the trusty favourites. Funnily enough my nan has a tendency of buying scarfs for people for birthdays and christmases so it was pretty apt that I chose a scarf as my birthday present from her.
This scarf is amazing though. It's so super soft and cuddly and is ridiculously big. It makes me feel a bit like a hobbit as I'm pretty sure it completely dwarfs me- I mean it was also sold to us as doubling for a picnic blanket- and I love it. It is exactly what I need at this time of the year, especially as I'm the first one in the office every morning before the heating is on. I get to work, make my tea and stay cuddled in my scarf for a good few hours until the heating finally gets going- I've also used it as a blanket for when my legs get cold! I've even been wearing it around the house because it's just so darn cosy.
I think it's fair to say that this blanket scarf is a definite winner, and I will probably be wrapped up in it all weekend...who am I kidding, it will be a part of me until March!
If you're interested, you can find it on their website here. It comes in a variety of colours and is just under £30.
